Join Us!

Become a registered member of McHenry Area Chess, and join the group that is dedicated to the promotion of the game of chess in the McHenry county area.  We run frequent meetings for casual play and monthly rated chess tournaments.  We award an annual scholarship to encourage participation in competitive chess events.  We publish a monthly newsletter and maintain an active web site.

Membership is free.  We will send our newsletters by email if possible, otherwise we must ask for a $10 contribution to offset printing and mailing expenses.  We are a non-profit organization that depends on our membership and our community.  So join us now, and become a bigger part of chess in the McHenry area.

USCF membership is not required for casual play, but is required for our tournaments.
