The July tournament was a well attended Quad, with twenty four players. Because of the number of games played in this event, rather than combining all the games into a single page, or collecting the games based on rounds, each quad is given it's own page of games to view. This should also make it easier to select the level of play you wish to se, or the games of individual players. Round number isn't as important in a Quad like it is in a Swiss anyway. You can view the games in each Quad by wither clicking on the links below, or by clicking on the labels in the left panel. This view of the quad's games sometimes do not contain all of the games played. This is do to score sheets that weren't turned in or were undecipherable. We apologize for the incompleteness. If you are a player who has a record of these games, please drop us a note so we can update this page to include it. The first quad was composed of Phil Jarrette (1800), Bob Cairone (1793), Josh Dubin (1715), and Walter Alberts (1700) for an average rating of 1752. It's worth noting that Josh is the third highest rated ten year old in the country, and the best of his age group in Illinois! At the end of the tournament, Bob and Phil shared first and second place with two points each. The second quad was made up of Roger Allison (1700), Bill Reed (1644), Jeff Colwell (1611) and Kent Cen (1579). The average rating in this section was 1634. First and second place was shared between Roger and Kent with two points each. The third quad was was played among Tim Ailes (1553), Yuegin Cen (1516), Charles Giertz (1500) and Bob Cunningham (1321) for an average rating of 1473. First place went to Yeugin Cen with a perfect score of three points, and second was taken by Tim with one and a half points. The fourth quad contained Zoran Vucenovic (1259), Akhil Dutta (1229), Jason Lang (1158), and Gary Barker (1103) for an average strength of about 1187. First place belonged to Jason Lang at two points, and second was shared between Zoran and Akhil with a point and a half each. The fifth quad has two new and unrated players, Gary Wang and Hussam Sehwail, and also Richard Lang (1138) and Bryce Kille (1099). With two unrated players, the average strength of this quad is really indeterminate. Richard took first place with a perfect score of three points, and Bryce took second one point behind. The sixth and last quad also had two unrated players, Marc Cassey and Zdravko Tupouzov. Rated players were Anthony Hsieh (1079) and Andriana Kille (1027). Again, with unrated players, the average strength is hard to determine. First place was won by Anthony with a perfect performance of three points, and Zdravko won second with two points. Unfortunately, there were no score sheets turned in from this section, and so there are no games to be seen.
