March 2004 Tournament Results A newcomer to McHenry Area Chess, Bill Barker, won first place in this tournament. Top seeded Bill, a class A player, played excellent chess and finished undefeated with one win and two draws. Sharing first with Bill was Andrew Wang, who has a moderate upset win (117 points) against Bob Cairone in a Caro-Kann. Jeff Colwell came in second also attaining an bigger upset win over Bob Cairone (237 points).
