The October tournament was a three round Quad with an attendance of thirty one players.  This was our first tournament at our new playing site, and after a a slight delay in first round pairings, things went very well. The eighth floor lounge was reasonably comfortable, and the hotel opened up a guest room across the hall to serve as or rest room and skittles room.

Here are the winners from our October tournament. Quad 1 (Rating range 2138 to 1700) First - Jim Marshall (2138) Second- Mark Robledo Jr. (2011)

Quad 2 (range 1702 to 1597) First - Joe Cygan (1657) Second - shared between Clive Hutchby (1651) and Kent Cen (1597)

Quad 3 (range 1559 to 1500) First - Daniel McNally (1556) Second - shared between Charles Giertz (1500) and Tim Ailes (1512)

Quad 4 (range 1495 to 1441 First and second - shared between Gary Janssen (1453) and Vladim Djordjevic (1441)

Quad 5 (range 1436 to 1400) First - Scott Silverman (1419) Second - Gary Levine (1436)

Quad 6 (range 1323 to 1238) First - Bob Cunningham (1323) Second - Robert Hayes (1238)

Section 7 (range 1108 to 855, with 7 players) First - Donald Reyes (1080) Second - shared between Clifford Adams (1058) and Steve Strathmann (1004)
