          McHenry Area Chess      

                                Presents a rated chess tournament.

        When:        September 16, 2006

        Where:       Holiday Inn Hotel
                           495 Airport Road
                           Elgin, IL 60123        (847) 488-9000

        What:         A Swiss tournament
                             Four rounds of play
                           Game/60 time controls

    -       Registration:  8:30 – 9:15.  Round times are 9:30, 11:35 and 2:15
                                             Tournament ends by 4:15 PM.

    -       Entry Fee:      $10.  Players must be members of USCF.
                         Join or renew the USCF on site and receive a discount.

    -       Prizes:            Based on entries in each section. We will have only one section if
                       attendance is light. We normally return between 2/3 and 3/4 of entry
                       fees in prizes.
